"Choose your words wisely" Change the words you speak and think - change your thoughts
Have you ever noticed how many negative statements we use on a day-to-day basis? We say "I am depressed" or "I can't do this" or "I've had a bad day" or "This weather is lousy." etc. Fill in your own negative self-talk as it is probably unlimited.
We tend to state our thoughts in the negative rather than in the positive. And since our thoughts are pure energy, by stating how we feel in the negative, this is then how we feel.
I invite you to do a little experiment. For the next week, give it your best and state your thoughts in the positive. Observe if anything changes and notice how you feel.
To get you started, here are some suggestions:
instead of saying ...
I am depressed.
I can't do it.
This is hard.
It is a dead end.
It's a dreary day.
Today was a lousy day.
I'm getting sick.
I am less happy.
I have yet to master it.
This is less easy
Let's try a different way.
This day can only get better.
Today was less perfect. - or - Today was not so good.
My immune system is flushing out toxins and is working on keeping me healthy.
